Jazz is the central theme that guides me all my life, not as a style, but as a way of thinking.

SOLO

If you interpret a standard as a jazz pianist, improvisation and composition come very close,

Arrangement, harmonization and reharmonization, rhythm, dynamics, everything happens in the moment and can be different every time.

Duos

I had the chance to play duos with some great

musicians. The intimacy and freedom to have

a conversation with another human being has

always fascinated me.

Wolfgang Puschnig, Bertl Mayer, Patrice Heral,

Maria Pia De Vito, Simone Kopmajer, Karl Sayer,

Raphael Preuschl, just to name a few.

Trio

For a Jazz pianist, the Trio is the home base , my first one was with Oliver Gattringer on drums and Uwe Urbanowski on bass, then with Lukas Koenig on drums and Raphael Preuschl on bass, the current line up is Reinhardt Winkler on drums and Glen Fisher on bass-the new album is finished and will be out in June 2024
